Already have a GPayments account:
Login to your GPayments Active Server instance To interact on Apaya’s Sandbox environment, we recommend using a test merchant provided by GPayments, on your Test Active Server endpoint. For Production, GPayments will provide a production endpoint and merchant credentials.
For more information on setting up your merchants and environment, follow the steps below: Retrieving GPayments Credentials
Step 1: Download your Master Certificate
On the GPayments Active Server, navigate to your profile (top-right corner) Scroll down and download the Master Auth API client certificate Get in touch with your Apaya Account manager to handover the certificate. Once installed, they will let you know its ready for your GPayments integration. Step 2: Retrieve the following credentials
From the downloaded Master Certificate zip folder of your certificate, open the metadata text file and retrieve the following: CertificateFilename (will a .p12 filetype) In the Active Server, navigate to the relevant merchant being configured in the Apaya Portal and retrieve the following: Merchant Token (click on the merchant and navigate to Certificates) Configuring GPayments in Apaya Portal
Step 2: Access Connector Configuration
Navigate to Connectors → My Connectors Locate the GPayments connector in the available connectors list Click Add Connector or Edit if already added Step 3: Enter GPayments Credentials
Enter the credentials retrieved in Step 1 into the Apaya Portal 'Edit Account' pop-up for GPayments:
BaseURL - The unique Active Server API URL supplied by GPayments: CertificateFilename - Name of Master Certificate .p12 file retrieved in step 2(a) CertificatePassword - Certificate Password retrieved in step 2(b) MerchantToken - The merchant token (unique for each merchant) MerchantId - The merchant ID Step 4: Utilize the GPayments Connector for your chosen Payments Connector
Select your preferred Payments Connector from the Apaya Portal Connectors screen. (e.g. MPGS) At the bottom of the 'Edit Account' pop-up for the Connector, select the ‘3DS Configuration’ switch.
This allows you to select from a third-party 3DS Connector, instead of using the Payment Connector’s built in 3DS functionality (if it offers it). Select the GPayments 3DS Connector from the list and click Save. All 3DS functionality for the chosen Payment Connector will now go through GPayments. Step 5: Perform test transactions using GPayments
Once you have confirmation that the master certificate has been installed by Apaya and you have configured the credentials in the Portal as detailed above, you are ready to test.
Build your Apaya Studio Workflow as per usual and there’s no additional configuration for GPayments at Workflow-level. To test a transaction using GPayments 3DS, refer to the instructions and test-cards available from GPayments .
