Landing page

Top banner: no change
Search bar: The search bar is easily noticeable and prominent, making it easy for users to search for specific products. However, it would be helpful to have a placeholder text inside the search bar to give users an idea of what to search for.
Categories: The categories are displayed prominently and are easily navigable. However, there are a lot of categories, which might be overwhelming for some users.
Featured products: The featured products are visually appealing and showcase the different products available in the shop. However, the text is small and might be hard to read for some users
Recommended products: The recommended products are a nice touch and can help users discover new products. However, it might be helpful to have some sort of explanation or reasoning behind why these products are recommended.
Footer: The footer is informative and displays useful links such as "About Us" and "Contact Us." However, it could be improved by adding links to social media accounts or adding a newsletter subscription option.
There are some areas for improvement, such as adding call-to-action buttons and placeholder text in the search bar. In terms of comparable e-commerce websites, I would compare this landing page to Amazon, Flipkart, and Myntra
Comparison
Amazon: The top banner of Amazon's landing page is similar to Park+, displaying different categories of products. However, Amazon's banner is more prominent, and the text is larger and easier to read. Additionally, Amazon's landing page includes a prominent call-to-action button, which is missing from Park+. The search bar of Amazon is similar to Park+, but Amazon's search bar includes placeholder text, making it easier for users to know what to search for. Amazon's landing page also includes a "Shop by Category" section, which is similar to Park+'s categories but is more organized and easier to navigate.
Flipkart: Flipkart's landing page is similar to Park+ in terms of layout, displaying different categories of products in a top banner. However, Flipkart's banner is more visually appealing and includes more categories. Flipkart's search bar is also similar to Park+, but Flipkart's search bar includes placeholder text and an autofill feature, making it easier for users to search for products. Flipkart's landing page also includes a "Deals of the Day" section, which is similar to Park+'s featured products but includes a more prominent call-to-action button.
Myntra: Myntra's landing page is different from Park+ in that it focuses more on fashion and apparel. However, Myntra's landing page is visually appealing and includes prominent call-to-action buttons for different categories of products. Myntra's search bar is also similar to Park+, but Myntra's search bar includes placeholder text and an autofill feature. Myntra's landing page also includes a "Trending Now" section, which is similar to Park+'s recommended products but includes more information on why the products are trending.
In terms of what more components can be added to the Park+ shop feature's landing page, I would suggest the following:
Social media links: Adding links to social media accounts can help users engage with the brand and stay up-to-date on new products and promotions.
Newsletter subscription: Adding a newsletter subscription option can help the shop build a customer base and keep users informed about new products and promotions.
