Pwe are to add a new SKU - “Petrol” (fuel) . we want to display the Petrol SKU at the top of the cart page and allow users to add it to their cart only if their total cart value is Rs. 699 or above. we also want to have a separate GMV for the store and the Petrol SKU and display the discount saved in the Fuel SKU on the sticky banner. Lastly, we want to display the voucher code for the Petrol SKU after the order is confirmed.

User Flow:

User adds items to their cart and proceeds to the cart page.

At the top of the cart page, the user sees the Petrol SKU on the top fold (similar to current Ambipur Re1 campaign) with a message "Get Free Petrol worth Rs 200RS! "

If the user's cart value is less than Rs. 699, the "Add Petrol" button will be disabled and the message will change to "Add Petrol to cart on orders of Rs. 699 or above."

Once the user's cart value reaches Rs. 699 or above, the "Add Petrol" button becomes enabled and the user can click on it to add the Petrol SKU to their cart.

The user can then proceed to checkout, where they see a summary of their order, including the Petrol SKU.

The user can complete the payment process and confirm their order.

After the order is confirmed, the user sees the order confirmation screen with a banner showing the voucher code for the Petrol SKU. (which is fetched from the backend Via Fuel API)

Functional Requirements:

The Cart page should display the Petrol SKU at the top, along with a message indicating that it can only be added to the cart if the total cart value is Rs. 699 or above.

The "Add" button for the Petrol SKU should only become clickable once the total cart value reaches Rs. 699 or above.

The sticky banner at the bottom of the cart page should incorporate the discount saved in the Fuel SKU as well as the discounts on the other SKUs in the order.

The order confirmation screen should display the Voucher code for the Petrol SKU just below the Order confirmed component. (refer design)

The Petrol SKU voucher code should be a banner with the Unique code generated for that order and the user should be given the option to copy that code.

Also we need to add the petrol SKU’s discount as well in the “you have saved Rs 1234/- on this order” component

A separate GMV for the store and the Petrol SKU (for internal stakeholders) a check to not include Petrol SKU

Relevant Components:

Cart Page:

A "Petrol" SKU with a message "Add Petrol to cart on orders of Rs. 699 or above." in the green bottom bar

A disabled "Add Petrol" button if the user's cart value is less than Rs. 699.

An enabled "Add Petrol" button if the user's cart value is Rs. 699 or above.

The discount saved in the Fuel SKU as well as the total items in that order- displayed on the sticky banner.

Order Confirmation Page:

A banner with the static- unique code generated for that order and the user given the option to copy that code.

Product Metrics:

Number of users adding Petrol SKU to their cart

Conversion rate for users who add the Petrol SKU to their cart and complete the purchase

Total GMV for the store and the Petrol SKU separately

Average order value including the Petrol SKU

Edge Cases:

What if a user adds the Petrol SKU to their cart but the total cart value drops below Rs. 699 before they check out?

If a user tries adds the Petrol SKU to their cart without meeting the Rs. 699 threshold, the "Add" button should be disabled and display a message indicating that the minimum cart value has not been met (same as Ambipur Re1)

What if a user tries to Return/Raise a refund request for the orders he/she ordered apart from the petrol SKU?

we are restricting the user to not be able to raise a refund, he/she cannot raise a refund for this order

If a user completes the payment process but the order confirmation screen fails to load or displays an error message, the user should be directed to the order pending page.
