Watch an NBA game and find at least two game stories. Write a blog post explaining the key story lines the authors identified and which one did a better job. Post with links to ch7_gamers2 channel for your instructor explaining your choices

Field assignment

Basic gamer (1-hour deadline)

Prep:
Write a short summary of the event you’re covering noting records, key players, potential storylines, and statistical highlights for each team. Post to gamer_instructor_prep for your instructor the night before the event to which you’re assigned.
Assignment:
Write a 400-word gamer due one hour after the end of the event you are covering. Include headline, byline, quotes from coaches and athletes. Send as a Google doc via DM to your instructor.

Running gamer and write-thru


Prep due beforehand:
Write a short summary of the game you’re covering noting records, key players, potential storylines, and statistical highlights for each team. Post to gamer_instructor_prep for your instructor the night before the game to which you’re assigned.
In-game:
Develop your own system of recording PBP and stats and post pictures of it to your instructor as a DM following the game.
Post at least two tweets per half/one per inning with key plays, score, game status
400-word gamer due at the buzzer/final out.
Postgame:
Choose one of the following options:
500-word gamer due 90 minutes after game’s end. DM to your instructor.
90 second video recap focused on which play/sequence and or player(s) determined the game outcome and how that compared with pre-game predictions, due 90 minutes after game’s end. Post to Youtube; DM link to your instructor.
