7-month B2B program where start up teams identify unmet clinical needs and work to identify a medical technology solution. Teams have access to hundreds of physicians and healthcare professionals in the state of Utah. Top teams are awarded further support and milestone funding.

The competition allows you to pitch your idea to a panel of judges. Top 30 ideas receive a change to win part of $10K to continue validating your “Big Idea.”

You have a business idea and now you create a business model based on your tested and validated idea. Teams compete for up to $20K in prizes.

Student business model competition at the University of Utah. Top companies are given official office space at the Lassonde Institute and milestone funding, along with accounting, legal, engineering, etc.

Student business model competition for startups focused on mechanical engineering and robotics. Top teams are awarded grants, depending on need and grant company sponsor. (usually $500-$7,000)

Jointly hosted by BYU, Harvard, and Stanford the competition is focused on inputs of the entrepreneurial process.

Includes three phases including the Big Idea Pitch, Business Model Competition, and New Venture Challenge

Teams of 4 create an app (iOS, Android, Web app, or Virtual assistant) and compete for up to $15K in prizes.

Up to 15 teams have the chance to receive $15K each and automatic entry into the Founders Launchpad where they receive exclusive training, a successful entrepreneurial mentor, and free office space for the summer.

Statewide student business model competition with local competitions at each university in Utah. Winners of local Opportunity Quest’s win prize money and advance to the Utah Entrepreneur Challenge.

BYU’s premier student entrepreneurship competition. Top six teams are entered into the semi-finals of Utah Student 25 where they will compete for up to $20K in prizes.

The premier innovation competition hosted by the College of Engineering they provide $50K in funding based on innovation, impact, and engineering.

Statewide student business model competition with $100K in total prizes available. Grand prize is $40K.
