Medicaid / Apple Health / CHIP
Medicaid, or Apple Health, provides health insurance coverage for low-income people aged 19 to 64.
Income limits for Medicaid eligibility are based on household size:
1 person - $20,784
2 people - $28,212
3 people - $35,628
4 people - $43,056
Important Note: Income limits for the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) are more than double the limits for Apple Health.
Income limits for Pregnancy and After Pregnancy Coverage (APC) is roughly 1.5x higher than the limit for Apple Health for adults who are not pregnant or postpartum.

The Olympia Free Clinic provides medical, mental health, and specialty care services to uninsured and underinsured adults at no cost to the patient. Eligible individuals include adults (18+ years of age) who are uninsured or "underinsured." They consider you to be underinsured if:
you are covered by Medicare or Medicaid and are unable to get an appointment with a provider;
you are privately insured, but are unable to afford your deductible or co-pays;
your insurance does not cover medically necessary care; or
there is a demonstrated lack of community resources for the care you are seeking.
The Olympia Free Clinic’s goal is to treat immediate needs and help people find long-term health care. They will assist by connecting people to appropriate community health resources.

The Dept of Veterans Affairs and the WA DVA offer a wide variety of services including disability benefits, healthcare, mental health support, substance use treatment, housing, employment programs, etc. Veterans seeking any kind of VA service should call or visit the Lacey Veterans Services Hub to learn about all programs they may be eligible for and for help with applying. Computer intake is offered at 9:30am on Thursdays.

In-Home Care
The DSHS office of Home and Community Services provides assessment and referral for in-home care. This program is for people who have disabilities that prevent them from conducting “Activities of Daily Living” (ADLs - eating, bathing, toilet use, cleaning, etc) without assistance. Both physical and mental impairments can impact ADLs.
You can deliver equipment donations or supplies during business hours.

Providence St. Peter Sexual Assault Clinic and Child Maltreatment Center
Provides prompt medical attention after an assault from forensic nurse examiners in the emergency department of St. Peters Hospital. The cost is covered by WA Crime Victim’s Compensation program at no cost to the patient.
