Matches between Plato’s description and the images on the warrior stelae:
Soldiers are depicted with simple weapons and small shields
Many are depicted next to chariots drawn by two animals (horses? donkeys?), implying chariot warfare
Soldiers have bull horns on their heads (compare to Sardinian/Sherden bronze age warriors)
Depicted next to a typical symbol of three concentric lines, and in the middle some kind of marking, or two blobs next to each other. These could represent the land rings of Atlantis and the mountain and two springs in the middle
The concentric rings are intterrupted by a channel which crosses through the rings, just like described in Plato’s city, and also matching the geomorphology of the Richat
The concentric rings symbol is always depicted larger than the warriors themselves, while small shields are of realistic proportion
These stones were funeral monuments, and might have been used to signify soldiers associated with the Atlantean army, which explains why they depicted the concentric rings and the soldier next to it
The stelae were found mainly in southern Spain, where tin mines were common, and these local Iberian people might have traded this with the Phoenicians in Gadir (Gadeira)
