A marketplace for digital twins
Apply this to custom software of any kind
Execution idea: Just message all companies with the created solutions to fillout a profile of all the custom develolments, and then try to find interested firms. Then we have to do some due dillgience, ensure it can be run/integrated/adjusted maybe even help hiring the right person. maybe we can learn from microacquire and also from the way that arvid kahl gave over his software to someone

Streamlining internal processes
Process mining and automation software As the saying goes, "when you know better, you do better." For many teams, they may not know, in detail, how they really spend their days. Every team should have an easy and automated way to document their day-to-day processes. That visibility would allow them to understand bottlenecks and inefficiencies with greater clarity, allowing for operational improvements. Over time, workflows could be standardized or automation deployed to level-up.

LinkedIn for dentistry
Unbundling of LinkedIn
Interesting because also relevant for a lot of other healthcare, general jobs → I think there could be a quite clear way to look through all kinds of jobs and find something with high demand + “ease” of setting up a marketplace

A timer and checklist add-on inside Google Hangouts and Zoom calls
Interesting because of the research done on MS Teams

Cameo for normies
Product reviews from real people; streamlined platform to solicit and receive high-quality user-generated product shots and videos
Marketplace building is a big thing at the moment. This idea would also push the credibility of products and can be seen as a ‘verifying signal’ for products
maybe also as a chrome extension idea?:

Looking under-the-hood
A dependency graph for system architectures
As we lately discovered the architecture of gempex project controlling tools, it could be worthy to display the dependencies of systems/software used in other companies → Hypothesis: Very high level of redundancy between the systems(e.g. gempex Outlook doubled maintenance effort)
Sounds a bit like LeanIX but maybe adjustable to smaller firms. Can discuss

Making bills fun
Infrastructure to enable bill payment; Idea: You could gamify the process, building a rewards system for responsible behavior (ie: paying on time) that allows you to unlock discounts at local stores
Lately I had contact to a ‘for me’ new payment platform called . I liked doing the paying procedure on there.(you can reserve a return of a part of your order and it has a very nice UI) They are currently attached to fashion shops like ASOS, Urban Outfitters etc.

Virtual potluck
A social network for live cooking
Building up a social network/live stream platform for a niche could be very interesting. is the main Livestreaming platform I know, but its mainly build for Gaming.

Business insurance-in-a-box. Idea: a simple UI wizard that asks for information about your business, then tells you what insurance you need to buy, packaging it up in a single purchase
Do we currently have contact to the insurance business? Could be an interesting sector to approach at.

If Twitter and Pocket had a baby
Improving social reading
As we already did some research on content curation, I like the idea which is described here: ‘focus on onboarding a small, high-signal group, like the YC founder community. You could pay $20/month to see what this group is reading, learning, and annotating. I think a lot of people would be excited to learn from high caliber operators’

Memories in the cloud
A treasured home for digital keepsakes. providing a home for those memories and allows for sharing and linking to other family members so that we can create full digital records of the lives of the people we love
Thats very interesting and won’t become unnecessary
Quite interesting aspect, have been thinking about this lately because of the following tweet from Julan: Let’s discuss

Grubhub for in-person dining
App to order ahead at restaurants, particularly during COVID-19. A service could be offered that further minimized interactions, allowing customers to order prior to arriving at a restaurant
Also thinking about a ‘life after Covid’ this could be very interesting. You could use an application to see the status of the order. Waitresses could only have to carry the food towards your sitting place and do not need to pick up the order.

Unbundling r/gardening
is a very big community and could be unbundled as well As corona is also leading to people only doing gardening at the moment, this could be very interesting.
(r/medicine), (r/beauty), and (r/streamers) Can discuss, reminds me of beekeeping somehow but it could be nicer

Real-Time API for Doctor Capacity
Healthcare needs something for surfacing real-time provider capacity at a national scale to facilitate efficient appointment booking
Healthcare again, a sector with a lot of potential of digitalization. Maybe there is a niche for us to pitch a product idea

Community admin tools
Better tools for community admins and managers
Could may be also combined with the EdTech idea above
We also talked about managing subscribers across different palttforms + generally good space and easy to start but the post there is not so convincing. We could easily validate the idea by sending messages to community admins asking for their biggest unsolved problem

Better grant writing software
Software that helps academics write grants 10x faster; Not only would it automate the process, but it would cumulatively save hundreds of thousands of man-hours a year and significantly increase the pace of research innovation
I think thats a quite nice topic to approach at
Would suggest a quick research of exsting solutions first. Then see from there

Zwift for education
Interactive learning for everything
EdTech was mentioned by Dan before, could this be a possible product idea?
I like the intersection of EdTech and Gaming. Also I could imagine to offer this as a utelity to existing online course providers (API/Module Business). Here next to demand fesability is a big question. It just makes sense if we can build on top of existing games - let’s discuss in the next meeting

Tinder for personal productivity
A swipe-based UI to make menial tasks easier to accomplish
I just liked the idea and wanted to document this

Visibility into all your online account information
Password managers let you track individual logins well, but they don't give you the best view of your overall online presence
This topic will grow continuously unless the ‘Single Sign On’ topic will become bigger
Quick resesarch on things that there are in this direction that are not password managers → most likely not intersting as if there is high demand that will be a logical step for big password managers
4/16/2021
The climate operating system
Enterprise software to manage all aspects of climate risk, energy usage, and carbon emissions
As already mentioned in other trends, tracking environmentally factors could be a possible SaaS solution
I would love to go in that direction, but to me it’s not clear what other aspects on can do (in germany) that are not like - let’s discuss if we want to dive deeper (Us comparision etc.) in the next meeting

Curation social network
A social network created for this kind of curational interaction. It would provide the ability to share those things with others, have those people take them and improve upon them, and build more shared knowledge
That brings curation to another level
Social Network for freelancers:
