Various projects for: Citibank, The Associates, Sprint, AT&T, Arco Oil and Gas, Dr Pepper/Seven Up Corporation, Kimberly Clark, Kimberly Clark Aviation, Technical People, Southwestern Bell, Dallas Independent School District, City of Dallas Police Department Gang Unit Task Force, Millicom, Texas Instruments, Advanced Data Systems, Software Solutions, Computing Management Associates, Decision Consultants, Abbot Laboratories, Nortel, International Association of Auditorium Managers, DFW Airport, Terra-Mar GeoTechnical Engineers, Inc. Each project was unique and customized for each client. Projects included: Sales force automation, automating benefits enrollment, oil and gas acquisitions, creating a registration system for conventions, installing and maintaining servers, automating a call center, developing system to handle analysis of engineering samples, maintaining databases, as well as training clients and handling support calls.

I handled several projects including the Field Automation Project. I researched equipment, platforms, etc. in order to determine the best way to implement notebooks in the field. I selected and requisitioned equipment, performed the initial setup of notebooks, software installation, Notes installation, Notes setup of applications, training of users, and support of all users in the field.

I have taught training classes for beginning Foxpro users and beginning Notes users. I have also taught development classes to MIS personnel in Lotus Notes. I taught training classes for new notebook users and how to use their notebook and the various applications they were using. I’ve taught users how to use software developed specifically for their organization.

I have provided first and second level support in the following areas: DOS; Windows; Novell; Microsoft Office applications; Lotus SmartSuite applications; Lotus Notes; as well as being able to trouble-shoot any additional applications/problems as they arise. I have provided support to inhouse clients from the front lines to the CEO.

I have worked with Windows NT, OS/2 and Novell NLM server platforms. I was responsible for all server access problems, replication schedules, server tasks, replication problems, and daily operations of an environment of 30 Notes Servers I have installed the SMTP gateway and Fax gateway, Phone Notes, Notes servers on OS/2 and Windows NT and Notes clients on Windows, Windows NT, Windows 95 and Macintosh. I have administered Notes networks on IPX/SPX, Netbios, TCP/IP and IP over Netbios. I have performed testing on Notes 4.0 and began a migration plan for moving from Notes 3.x to 4.0.

I have designed numerous Notes 3.x databases as well as maintained and modified VIP code accessing Notes databases. I have worked on converting 3.x databases to 4.x databases. I have written Phone Notes applications. Applications include daily operations of MIS Help Desk, databases for Field Sales personnel, Expense Reports, Budgeting, Employee Benefits, Administrative Tools, etc. Automated work-flow processes with Notes including Email enabled databases, and F/X enabled applications to provide applications that were simple and user-friendly.

I have many years of Foxpro development experience in numerous environments. I have designed, developed, tested, implemented as well as maintained various types of Foxpro and dBase databases. Some of these applications include: moving old dBase style coding into new Foxpro 2.x style format; moving DOS based Foxpro applications into Windows; Convention Registration System; expense reporting system; interface between existing project management tool and mainframe accounting system; Security System to track security violations; Gang Tracking database to track gang activity; customized accounting system; modifications to the Contract, Credit, Dispatch, Avails, Customer, Supply, Acquisitions pieces of Natural Gas Marketing application; maintained Customer Training database and designed and assisted in conversion of current dBase application to Oracle.

I’ve written numerous databases in Microsoft Access for various reasons over the years. I’ve also customized and maintained Microsoft Sharepoint sites for our homeschool. I’ve tested most productivity software currently available and have worked with various automation programs to automate various tasks for our home and homeschool. I’ve written an entire system to manage a call center from the capture of leads all the way down to payroll for the employees.

Prior to starting my career in consulting, I spent my high school years working for attorneys. I’ve spent many hours typing up legal documents of various kinds.
