Both the transferor and recipient accounts can’t be in a pending or changing state, and the latest version of their paid and free agreements in the Agreements, Tax, and Banking section must be accepted.

The app should have one of the following app statuses:

Ready for Sale

Prepare for Submission

Developer Removed from Sale

Invalid Binary

Developer Rejected

Rejected

TestFlight beta testing should be turned off for all beta versions of the app.

Apps using Sign in with Apple cannot be transferred.

Step 2: Initiate App transfer

2.1) Log-In to your

app store connect⁠

account & click on “My Apps”

2.2) Select the app that you want to transfer

⁠

2.3) Scroll down to “Additional Information” and click on “Transfer App”

⁠

2.4) Enter the Apple ID of the recipient’s Account Holder and their Team ID

2.5) Agree to Apple’s terms and click “Request Transfer”

Step 3: Accept The App Transfer Agreement by Recipient

After the original Apple developer account has been submitted a transfer request, the recipient Account Holder will need to accept the app transfer by following these steps:

3.1) Log-in to recipient’s App Store Connect account

3.2) Click on Agreements, Tax, and Banking

3.3) Look for the app under “App Transfers”

3.4) Fill out all of the appropriate Metadata

3.5) Read Apple’s terms and click “Accept”

It can take up to two business days for the app transfer to complete, during which the app status is Processing App Transfer.
