For SPAN: Steps to Transferring a Domain Name

Before proceeding with the Transfer, we have to check if the domain name can be transferred.
Domain availability
Domain name is NOT less than 60 days old
A domain name can not be transferred to another Registrar within 60 days of a previous Transfer

Theft Protection / Lock / Suspension: we have to disable all the security options
Privacy Protection need to disable it
Domain name is should not in the Redemption Grace Period or in the Pending Delete status
Once we have determined whether a domain name can be transferred, we have to apply for the Transfer at the Registrar of our choice. Refer to the New Registrar's (Godaddy) Transfer process to transfer our domain name under their management. We may require a Domain (Transfer) Secret/Authorization Code to complete the Transfer process.






3. Once you have confirmed the transfer with the Godaddy Registrar, we would receive an intimation about this Transfer. ResellerClub would then be sending an email to the Registrant Contact of the domain name, informing them that a request for Transfer of this domain name has been placed with the Godaddy Registrar.

4. The domain name will get transferred to the Godaddy Registrar, at the expiry of 5 days from you having approved the Transfer at the Godaddy, provided the Registrant Contact does not cancel the Transfer.

Once the transfer request is placed, it will take 5 to 7 days to completion of the transfer.

For Bestpass: Steps to Transferring a Domain Name

Sign in to your GoDaddy
account

and Go to the
GoDaddy transfers page
⁠
Go to the
GoDaddy transfers page
⁠
and search for your domain.





Make sure domain is unlocked. We'll show a green status bar if we can verify your domain is unlocked.
Enter the authorization code for your domain. You can get the auth code from your current domain registrar (SPAN).
5. Select Continue after the unlock and auth code sections both show green status bars.

6. Choose an option for
Domain Protection
⁠
and then select Add Protection. If you prefer not to add Domain Protection, select No Thanks instead.
7. Before complete the process need to update “A record” & “CName” details from the existing item
Note: we will update the A record and CName against the each domain
8. Complete the checkout process to officially start your domain transfer.

Most domain transfers take 5–7 days to complete. Godaddy send you an email if we're unable to process your transfer, and you can any time in your GoDaddy account.
