If someone were to ask me what is my passion, it would be to “bring people together”. Recently, as someone that works from home, I had felt a bit lonely during walks to get coffee & get lunch. As someone that is the definition of an extrovert, I could only imagine what other people were facing.
I am proud to have launched a neighborhood community called "The Pedway", which has grown to include over 125 individuals that span all ages, backgrounds, and professions within the first three months. The group has been successful in creating a sense of community within the neighborhood, and it is growing organically.
The Pedway’s events are held every two weeks and have an average turnout of 25-35 people. We have organized a variety of activities such as game nights, community service projects, happy hours, and more! These events have been a great way for people to get to know each other and build lasting relationships.
"The Pedway" has also been forging partnerships with local businesses, including Lakeshore Sport & Fitness, Mariano's, and a local cafe. These partnerships have allowed us to have the space required to build a stronger connections.
Overall, I am thrilled with the growth and success of "The Pedway" and look forward to continuing to bring people together in our neighborhood.
