Why contract with RORA

Contracting is great - you get to be the boss! But it can leave you out on your own with no real support and no one to learn from. Plus, it's a real slog trying to keep winning new work.
That’s why we created RORA’s contracting proposition. We remove the hassle (and loneliness) from contracting - meaning you can focus on work that excites you whilst gaining a support network that you’re bound to love!

Our commitment to you

We take our side of the bargain seriously - we aren’t in the business of building people databases here. That’s why we’ve carefully considered how we include our Contractors, so that you get an experience that’s totally unique.

🤏 We’ll always keep our contracting pool small. This means we do not proactively recruit when there are more than 3-contractors available for work at either Manager or Lead level.
👷‍♀️ We promise to offer you suitable contracting opportunities, supporting some of the most exciting Start-ups and scaleups in the UK, as soon as we can. Generally we place 70% of our contractors in their first contracting gig within 3-weeks of their preferred start date.
🤸‍♂️ You have ultimate flexibility! Whilst we ask for a minimum of 2.5days availability per week, you get to choose which contracts you take on.
💚 You’ll always have access to an engaged peer support network including RORA’s internal slack channels, so there is no need to figure things out on your own! If you haven’t already, we invite you to
🌱 You are genuinely part of RORA’s team! That means your development is our priority and we’d love you to join our L&D sessions. At least once a month there is an in-person social too - you are always invited!
🫴🏽 If you are actively working on a RORA contract, and need a little extra support, we provide career coaching (via MoreHappi) and Therapy (via Spill.)
💳 We pay fairly and we pay Contractors at the same level, the same (sounds obvious!). Our FinOps Manager Contractors earn £390 pd and our FinOps Lead Contractors earn £500 pd.
💷 Talking about money, you’ll never need to invoice or chase for payment again... phew! We self-invoice on your behalf, with payment made to you no later than the 17th of the following month.

Like all good relationships, the commitment should go both ways. So, this is what we ask from you in return...

👱Whilst you’re at it, please complete your Notion profile. This is the information we share with our partners to help them determine who the best fit for their business is.
