As a Program Owner, you provide the vision, structure, and coordination needed to ensure a coherent, well-run, and impactful segment of the summit—ultimately contributing to its overall success.

General Responsibilities of a Program Owner
1. Program Planning & Narrative Development
Define the overall theme, narrative, and objectives of the program.
Determine the number and focus of sessions or panels, ensuring all elements align with the broader .
2. Coordination & Communication
Serve as the primary liaison for all , providing clear guidance, schedules, and support.
Plan regular check-ins and calls with Session Owners to ensure alignment, resolve issues, and maintain momentum.
Coordinate with unDavos team to make sure timeslots, session and panel details, and speaker are correct.
3. Content & Speaker Management
Work with Session Owners to confirm panel topics, speaker lineups, and session structures.
Ensure all content is engaging, relevant, and delivered on time for publication and promotion.
4. Administrative Oversight
Use () and the () to maintain an up-to-date overview of all program sessions, participants, and resources. Talk to to get connected and onboarded
Keep all parties informed with regular updates and finalized details through accessible shared documents and telegram channels. unDavos is fully self organised through Telegram. The main Telegram Structure we use is:
The Program Organizers Telegram group serves as the primary coordination channel for the unDavos core team, Program Owner, and Session Owners to organize program-level activities.
Additional Telegram groups are structured as follows:
One Telegram group per session: Including unDavos core team, Program Owner and Session/Co-Session Owners as representative from each panel, within this session
Panel-specific groups: Each panel may establish its own Telegram group for speakers and Panel Owner to coordinate details
5. Collaboration with Organizers & Operations
Coordinate with the event organizers (e.g., ) and other key stakeholders on logistics, marketing, and technical support.
Liaise with sponsors or partners if needed, passing any funding or promotional leads to .
6. Quality Assurance & Execution
Oversee the full lifecycle of the program—from initial concept through to execution on-site or online—ensuring a smooth, professional, and impactful experience.
Act as a point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving last-minute issues.
