Is it actionable? Decide. Determine the next actionable items to do.

Incubate
One Day Some Day
If yes
What would you do? Phone call, write a chapter
Can you do it in two minutes or less? Then do it.
If not, are you the right person?
If not you, then delegate.
If this action item will finish the topic, good.
Else create an item group, or project, with a list of actionable items that needs to be followed up.
An Action Group is 2 or more, but still a small group, of action items needed. An Action Group can be created on the fly. A Project is a larger number of action items that needs to be project managed. A project needs to be created in the projects table before it can be used. Which to use when, is totally up to you.
How to use the Clarify view
This view will show you a list of all the action items in your dbNote table that do not yet have a Status assigned to it.
Add and remove statuses from the select list to suit your requirements. Most of the status are self-evident.
Blocked means something that needs to be done, but you cannot work on it at the moment. There is a view of items that you need to review on a regular basis, but also consider adding a date by which you need to follow up on so that it will show up in your daily action items.
Delegate - Add the person to whom you are delegating in the People column. It is a good idea to add a date, so that it will return to your Action Item list in the future for follow up.
Incubate - use this status for something that you need to think about, or which you will get back to when you your action item list. It is a good idea to add a date, so that it will return to your Action Item list in the future.
One Day Some Day - Things that you are not ready to do yet gets this status. There is a view items that you need to review from time to time. It is a good idea to add a date, so that it will return to your Action Item list in the future.
If you completed something at this stage (two minute items), click on the archive button to remove it from all lists. It will still show up in the Archive list.
