Scenario

In order to make sure students are not distracted during homework - or any other circumstance Parents see fit - it is possible to lock the device on one or more specific apps for a defined time period.

App-specific locks can be applied in 3 ways:

Ad-Hoc Lock: Setting is defined on a one-off basis

Saved Lock: Setting is saved and re-used when needed

Scheduled Lock: Setting is defined to run on a recurring Week/Day/Time basis

Note

If the Lock mode is set to operate on a single app, iPad will remain only on this app and it will not be possible to get back to the Home screen until the Lock is cancelled or additional apps are added to the Lock setting.
