Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and Product Briefs are both essential tools in every great PM’s toolkit.
Product Briefs are pitch decks to align on the problems we should put resources on. They fit into an A4, started before even planning, generate early excitement and alignment and they are not focused on the solution.
A PRD provides context about an upcoming product feature to all the stakeholders involved, including the problem, proposed solution, launch plan, and key decisions done.
