Feedmont

A guide to starting a volunteer grocery delivery program for at-risk community members!
Since Feedmont was founded in March, volunteers have delivered over $100,000 of groceries to Piedmont residents!

What is Feedmont?

is an online platform created by four Piedmont High School students that matches at-risk, immunocompromised individuals with low-risk community members who will deliver their groceries and other essentials.

How does Feedmont Work?

Any neighbors in need (households with an at risk individual or healthcare workers) can request help for buying groceries and other items such as toiletries and non-prescription medications.
When available, a volunteer will be matched with a neighbor in need within their area.
Once a match is made, the volunteer contacts their match to ask for their shopping list and coordinate the delivery during the week.
