A number of Netflix applications and tools require you to be logged onto our Virtual Private Network or VPN. Our N-Tech team (Netflix’s internal IT team) will teach you everything you need to know about VPN during the N.E.W.@Netflix program, but you can always

💡 Pro tip

Make signing onto the VPN via Ivanti Secure Access the first thing you do each day. It’ll make application access much smoother.

Go links

We don’t exchange hard copies of documentation at Netflix - everything is digital. Because of that, and the fact that we use a lot of applications, we use go links to make accessing the most common resources as easy as possible (without needing to remember a long URL).

You need to be on VPN to use go links such as

go/elp⁠

If you’re ever having trouble using the go/... link, you can also use a longer version:

go.netflix.com/elp⁠

(this should also work when you are not on VPN).

Here are a few of our favourite go links:

go/elp - The Employee Landing Page.

go/wp - Whitepages, your internal Netflix directory.

go/workday - Workday, where you can view paycheck or tax information and anything else related to your finances as a Netflix employee. This is also where expense reports are submitted.

go/netflixswag - Our Netflix Swag (Stuff We All Get) store where you can order Netflix-themed clothing or items for yourself or your family & friends.

go/pitch - Now that you work at Netflix, people will pitch you concepts for shows. It’s just how it goes. If it goes too far, however, and someone sends you a script to read, this resource helps you know how to properly handle unsolicited submissions.

go/food - When we’re all back in the office, this resource will show what food is being served; by the way, did we mention that all food at Netflix is free of charge? 😄

go/coffee - This is a tutorial video for how to use the espresso machines at the Netflix offices because... well, those things are complicated. If you’re lucky, you may run into Reed at one and maybe he can show you! ☕
