As part of the KANU Ambassador Program, the Marketplace Manager will serve as the curator of ongoing collections that will live on KANU’s website, highlighting a diverse set of student-run businesses on their campus. In this role, you will design the landing page’saesthetic, select the businesses to spotlight, and collaborate with the Marketing Lead to ensure consistency in the brand’s image across the website and social media. It will be crucial for this person to possess strong project and resource management skills and the ability to quickly learn about KANU’s marketplace. To succeed as the Marketplace Manager, you should be detail-oriented, organized, and focused on cultivating a robust collection of products & services.
How You Contribute
Own the Process: Curate weekly collections through a careful selection process of the active businesses on KANU’s marketplace
Design & Manage Content: Create the collections layout on our landing page & update regularly to further promote the products & services on your campus. Manage the archiving process as collections end & new ones are released
Bring your creativity: We want to hear what ideas you may have for how we can appeal to a wider range of students on your campus. We welcome those who take initiative, and encourage you to propose your project ideas to leadership
Learn from the Founders: This position will work directly alongside the C-Suite
Challenge Yourself: Reach monthly milestones to keep track of progress and get rewarded each time!
Lead Others: This is a management position and will involve supervising one or more ambassadors as the program develops
