Welcome to the GoodMaps Curriculum website. This resource was developed to provide you and your students with lesson plans, assignments, activities, and assessments that can be used as part of your Orientation and Mobility classes. The curriculum was authored by Dr. Jennifer Palilonis in collaboration with O&M teachers at six schools across the country. Find and select information: GoodMaps’ building list, robust destination directory, and sort and filter features, provides learners with an opportunity to practice finding and selecting the information they need to efficiently and effectively explore indoor spaces.
Critical thinking: Fun activities, challenges, and games allow students to practice strategic thought and problem solving.
Social and cultural influence: Throughout the curriculum, students are asked to reflect on the role of technology in our lives, as well as the ways in which technology can be used to support daily life.
