Retarget and Replace mannequin with metahuman:
In Quxie bridge, download and then click add button on the chosen character
enable missing
restart UE
Choose filter by Skeletal mesh in Metahuman folder
R click on Body mesh, assign skeleton
choose 1st one, sk_mannequin
Open 3rd person BP
change mesh to the metahuman body just created
Now only hands and feets visible:
Open metahuman BP, viewport
copy the components below, and paste in 3rd person viewport (do 1 by 1)
Child them under the mesh, and reset their locations and rotations to 0
Now the body position not yet fit
Choose Torso component, click the microscope icon at skeletal mesh to open the browser
R click on the Toroso mesh, assign mannequin skeleton, same as previous
Back to 3rd person BP, compliance, and select Anim class as ABP_Quinn_C
Repeat the same steps on Legs and Feets component
To make all other animations created for mannequin that can be adopted in metahuman, make the following construction script:
In LODSync component, rename Body to Mesh in
Custom LOD Mapping and
Components to Sync index 0
Now the feets are still not moved correctly (like skating),
to fix this:
Go to ABP_Manny, anim graph, open control rig node
In step 5, Full body IK node, change Root from Pelvis to Animation root
Copy hair and other facial components, plus LODSync to 3rd person BP too
Child facial component under face, LOD sync independently
Change forced LOD to 0
