Liquidity is simply the amount of money we have on our account. This is not our only resource, we also have money that is “locked in” to equipment, tools, containers, etc. However, our liquidity is the most important number for Blivande since we do not want to take out unnecessary loans or credit.
Running Blivande will cost about 300.000-350.000 per month once we are paying people properly. It is generally good practice to have at least 3 months worth of running expenses as a buffer on a company bank account. As you can see from the chart below, we are aiming to reach a plateau after 2025 where we can maintain that buffer on our account. Note that the liquidity calculation currently does not account for the tax that we will need to pay tax on the profit we make in order to build up our buffer.
