Rippling

Let’s make sure you’re fully set up with Rippling first. It’s our main HR system for things like getting paid, managing time off, selecting benefits like medical insurance, getting you set up on your team’s tools or sharing passwords with you. You’ll always use your personal eMail to log in.
Signed all your documents? Great!
Set up your tax information & bank account to get paid on time.

eMail & Calendar

3 Weeks until Start Date: Google Workspace
We use a lot of Google services beyond eMail, including the calendar, shared drive, and Google Meet for video calls. Basic information, including your photo, is synced with Rippling.
You’ll receive the login details for your @gaeastar.com Google account in your personal eMail inbox.
Set up 2-Factor-Authentication. You can use your personal vault on RPass to save your password and use the Rippling Mobile app to generate the 2FA code.
Subscribe to the following calendars. Just hover over the link below, copy it, head to GCal, hit the little + icon next to Other calendars, then From URL, where you paste the link. These calendars are updated via time off requests in Rippling.

Slack

1 Week until Start Date: Slack
We use Slack for internal communication with your colleagues and team. Because it’s a less structured, informal tool, please don’t use it to store important information you might need to find later.
Your Slack access will be unlocked [🔗

Set up notification rules to prevent late-night pings.

First Day
