Audience IDs / List ID

Almost all formulas & buttons of the pack require an audience ID. The audience ID is the unique ID of an audience you have set up with the Mailchimp account you are logged in with. List ID and Audience ID are the same thing. Mailchimp renamed it in the user interface but kept the term list in the API environment.
The Mailchimp pack automatically checks and lists your audiences whenever you have to enter an audience ID. Just tab/click on the suggestion to fill out the respective audience ID/list ID.

Email address

Mailchimp uses the email address as a unique identifier. The email address is not case sensitive. Trying to add the same email address to an audience twice will result in an error. If you are not sure if the user is already part of the audience, you can use the Update or subscribe button.

Subscription statuses

A member of an audience as a subscription status.
Subscribed
The user is in the audience and will receive campaigns sent to the audience. The user counts towards monthly plan limits.
Pending
A user is in the audience but has not yet clicked on the double-opt-in link that was sent to his email address. The user counts towards monthly plan limits.
Unsubscribed
A user is in the audience, , but will not receive campaigns. The user counts towards monthly plan limits.
Archived
The user is theoretically part of the audience, but will not receive campaigns. The user does not count towards monthly plan limits.
Cleaned
The user was automatically cleaned, usually because the email address is not reachable. The user does not count towards monthly plan limits.
Deleted
There is no more “deleted” status in Mailchimp. When you permanently delete a member via the Mailchimp UI, it cannot be undone! To prevent any accidents, the Mailchimp pack does currently not support permanent deletion.
