I'm still not entirely convinced that using a local writer will yield any dividends in search purely by virtue of the fact that they are local; but if a local writer can bring local knowledge to the article and make it more local, I can see some upside there. We still need to test it with one piece of content and see what comes back.
Pornhub. Yes, more than happy to spin out some extra content around porn and the US. We have a few legislation pieces on CT. Have a look and give me some article titles and I'll get them raised for you.
Update articles periodically based on performance. Yes, it might be easier. Although we're reviewing our strategy a bit here. Not sure what you're seeing with other clients, but we've noticed that updates have become less effective and even detrimental since the March update. An interesting read if you haven't come across it already.
Perhaps bigger quarterly updates or something like that. The Russian language pages also outperform their English counterpart for quite a few so will need the updates to be passed over to a translator when done.
