Benefits Connect in Slack

Thrive for Slack now surfaces company benefits and EAPs to Thrive users who respond negatively to their Daily Check-In question. This update does not require notice to users or employees, but you can use these resources to learn more about the changes!

🆕 What’s New?

Benefits Connect helps HR leaders reach their employees when they need it most. Triggered by sharply negative responses to the Daily Check-In, Benefits Connect promotes tailored resources and company benefits, such as EAPs, to help employees in times of need. Benefits Connect has historically been available only on web, mobile, and Teams, but it will now be available to Slack users!

❓ FAQs

Does Benefits Connect only get triggered if a user answers with the most negative option?
Slack users receive Benefits Connect resources when they respond with a negative deviation from their average response.
Do I, as a Thrive customer or user, need to do anything when this is turned on?
If your organization has already set up Benefits Connect resources for web, mobile, or MS Teams applications, they will automatically pull into Slack, and no action is required on your part. If you have not set up Benefits Connect yet, talk to your Customer Success Manager to get this feature turned on for your org!
Can we track click through rates (CTR) on the resources that are surfaced through Benefits Connect?
Yes, we can track CTR on any resource that has a call to action button attached to it (ex: linking out to your company’s time off policy). We can’t track CTR for resources that direct users to take their own action (ex: call this number or email this person).
Does the user still get their Journey content after triggering Benefits Connect?
Users will not receive any Microsteps or Journey content when Benefits Connect is triggered in Slack — only the company resources.
