Goal:
We are bringing together multiple active communities in tech and offering creative coalitions, networking, and learning opportunities.
Calgary is home to a vibrant ecosystem constantly offering tech events centred on a specialized topic. This is an excellent method to expand knowledge in one area, but in the long term, it might create siloed communities and reduce the diversity of professional networks.
This mega meetup will simultaneously attract individuals from multiple communities in one venue for numerous parallel events/talks and then offer the opportunity to create meaningful connections across communities.
Other benefits:
Reduces the chance for communities to make competing events Increase community awareness across groups. Reduces marketing efforts
