Asking to Meet Email

Meeting with teachers is the best way to ask questions and/or request accommodations

Things to include

Propose a time to meet in the email

Tell them how your child is doing

Thank them for supporting the process

Example meeting request email from parent to teacher

Subject line: [Name]’s Return to Learn Plan

History Teacher,

Are you available tomorrow 3rd period?

[Name] plans to be at school tomorrow only for Periods 1 and 2. We shall see how they handle the cognitive load. Please allow them to wear sunglasses in class if they need to.

Thanks so much. We really appreciate your understanding and support.
