During a basketball game in my sophomore year of high school, I was charged and my head slammed into the hardwood court. I was diagnosed with a grade 3 severe concussion, but neither my family nor I knew what to expect. It has been almost a year since my injury, and I now know so much more about what it means to live with a concussion: missing countless tests, stopping sports, constantly communicating with doctors and teachers, and negotiating academic accommodations, etc. This past year I have received so much support and knowledge, and I want to share all that I have learned to help others in their recovery process!

When I got a concussion, I discovered that tracking daily events and symptoms was critical for my recovery. In the Health Log Overview, it will debrief you on what the log is and what it does.
Knowing who was in my support system helped make life with a concussion that much easier. This database of contact information will allow you to communicate with those you need to.
