Dear addmission commision, My major in envrionmental economics and management, volunteering experience in envrionmetal education and professional work in technical writing and academic interest in philosophy of nature give me solid aptitude toward profession in communications of envrionmental issues. And now I want to combine my experiences and education by attending the master’s program “Culture Ecology Change”. Why I can be a good fit for this program, in 5 reasons Why this program is relevant First, my current career aspirations match and program can greatly help me in my path - questions? Through “Culture Ecology Change” programme, I want to examine I am transitioning my career towards communications, research, and analytics roles in the fields of environment and food, coming from a background in IT communications. Your program can help broaden my perspectives and equip me with the necessary skills. Why I can be a good fit for this program, in 5 reasons Fourth, Ishamel, Philosophy of Nature Second, Early and prolonged motivation how I came to ecology, and undegraduate degree that gave me economical perspective Third, Communication and education passions during studies AIESEC. Continuation of pursuing communication in work, adding analytical and research aspect, and technical communication/writing skills. Volunteering experince along with the professional experience. My own project, we won funding. Why I think I can be useful too? What I think I can do specifically after graduation? I am very uch looking forward to
Dear admission commission, my undergraduate major in environmental economics and management, volunteering experience in environmental education and communication, as well as professional work in technical writing, and my academic interest in philosophy of nature, gave me a solid aptitude for professional communications of environmental issues. And now I want to enrich my perspectives, experience and education by attending the master program Culture, Ecology, and Change. Let me explain why I can be a good fit for this program in the following seven reasons.
First of all, I want to point out that in the current social, environmental, political, economical crises, crises and multi-crises, it's really important to look at the environmental issues, not only from the perspectives of ecology, biology and climate change science. My current professional interest or academic interest is understanding more how people how people relate to food and what factors influence on the way human like choose what they need, change their balance. I want to understand what role plays college for various and specifically like different facets of life and discriminations like imperialism, patriarchy, race, what, like, how the systemic processes influence people's behavior, those people's behavior and choosing what they want to eat and how to cook and what to eat and how to change their diet and tastes. I'm interested in this because being from Yakutia and seeing how food became one of the major stress factors for a lot of people, I think it's really important to see how food is used in the food industry. I think it's really important to see how food is used in the food industry. I think it's really important to see how of the families and then the source of the pain and chronic illness and for myself and for my family as well. Yeah, that is something that I think can be changed. I'm really eager to... to see how the master program can help me to find answers on the questions like how we can organize food systems in a way that will help us and our health and then environment rather than destroy environment as well as our health. How the political and economical processes work here. We have to organize policies in a way that will be more beneficial for the government. and how we can communicate with people on some health interventions and food interventions, and help them meet the transition and change their identity. preferences and choose the right products in a way that will be also healthy. So that is something that I'm interested in. And I think that program will definitely help you to understand more. uh yeah so how we can change food systems and food production for substance that is service counseling and not a justice have a human certificate of education um and i'm interested in the second world world specifically was i am from second world world and then i'm uh i believe that Arctic and subarctic regions are very fragile and one of the first regions that see climate change effects. So therefore, I probably that I am in a position where I can benefit to the region and to the world by doing work, emphasizing Arctic and non-arctic regions. people from the north and their arctic ecosystems. Specifically, I'm interested to see how can green and able-bodied and rich diets of the north people with the low land-based diets can continue to thrive in the societies with harsh climatic conditions. basically, how it came about, how it was molded, created, by who, when, and where, and then how we can change it maybe. It's not only for the art of tundra, but also for the regions with other harsh climates like the desert, the deserts, where there's not much plants as well. And environment is one of the left because of the harsh conditions. Where meat is also one of the major sources of food. And I'm interested in how we can transition it, how we can help to give the country-wide food to the people that will fund the taste and flavors of such countries. But same time, help them transition to a more healthy diet, which is medium-intrinsic and more affordable with the money. Yeah, so that's one of the major questions that I have at this point of time that I'm interested to see how the program can help me to address. And then what I also believe is that we desperately need interdisciplinary specialists that can do all the easy work. from different perspectives.
And I wanted to break down in the whole integrated can help me to navigate my own most profound perspective, so the economical perspective. And that what I learned in my degraded degree is to see how economical benefits can I've tried to change the assault of change and the assaults of truth. And then my own work in communication, economical benefits and communication. When I was in sales and then I was in support, I was struck that there is a communication, a huge perspective of communication and presentation, basically. How we presented this, how we storytell. And then the problem of culture, ecology and change actually will help me to understand more deeply this communication perspective on the way language can be an actor of change, actor of appreciation and actor of transformation for the society. and addressing the challenges of the environment, and to ensure the multiple prices that we are on.
And then through the Cultural Change Program, I want to examine current sustainable concepts and models, and the narrative output that, narratives that used in those concepts and models and and typically outlines how actual communities of like colonial heritage relates to those messages and then that might be helpful and interesting to compare with the messages that addressing or sending addressing powers in immigrants even in this society and see how we can basically analyze what works and what not, what marriages, what values and culture, how values and culture of minorities and groups of the people can be influential in understanding construction or what relating to the dynamics and why is it going on with that and then i'm interested to also uh during my studies I want to examine that one dimension of bio-tropotomy. I'm really interested in how trans-rheumatic reactions can find similar work with the primary project of the neuro-trans-rheumatic reactions and how they change basically. So, yeah, change of the strategy, going back to what you mentioned, but those are ultimately, we cannot basically move forward any future changes, new changes, if we didn't reflect all past and what was happening and how change was constructed and how people reacted to that. And then help people to reflect on these changes and enable dialogue and change of knowledge. and then I'm interested in learning more about social equality, social ecological justice, with ecofeminism concepts, indigenous, postcolonial, transcultural ecological studies. I want to understand how various forms of oppression, gender, race, class, and other I wanted to understand more about logical scheme uses and linear science and analyze and medical, and science, and this works for many environmental issues. And then I wanted to understand more how to make a solid science communication without green bush. And I'm really excited about the possible research program of my own with the physicists. I already have some ideas and I'm interested and eager to learn how to make this project more valuable and exciting.
Another thing why I think it's a good problem is that I'm already interested and learned on my own and doing different classes, various philosophical and environmental text. I've read Ishmael, which is an interesting piece of literature, as well as the, in a way, secular literature, that made people realize what is violence, like, more of the dead and then the philosophy of nature. I think it's interesting if it was really just in class where I learned more about evolution and all that that we realize that we want to be stronger, but we want to be about the best. And that completely re-analyses and reinterpret the social structures and it gives me hope and sparks my imagination, particularly social and political imagination, and economic imagination, and the way that can be done. The second or the third reason why I do pick this program is that I have a motivation learning environment related topics from the high school. And then I continued that during my professional journey as a volunteer already and then on my own. And now I am more than capable and prepared to transition to work professionally.
And then, what I also think is that why things can be useful too. It's not only about why I want you to help me, but it's also how I can help the program develop and lead and develop further. It's why I also can be specifically a foundation for society in a greater world.
um so i'm very much looking forward um to um the evidence why i think i can introduce my field first there is of course um my unique um background being myself on indigenous community and um assessing that um a look on the world and nature and the relationship with nature that we should expect it can definitely help to see more like details maybe in the way colonialism like plays a role in changing narratives and culture and values of the colonized societies in the global south of the world compared to the global north of the Arctic. What else can be used for is that I'm doing my studies, I want to, I really would say that the opportunity to have an internship and um like maybe the placement that i will that i will find will be a big partner for the work further on for the kids for the further students of the program and um receive more mercy in this kind of program so yeah but that can be also useful what i hope to do specifically after abbreviation is I want to either so I'm not sure exactly but I thought either I will go to PhD and here I'm like dividing myself I'm not sure exactly whether I will go directly to environmental humanities PhD or social science and environmental PhD like something like environmental anthropology, ethnography or something like that or I will Or I will go to social sciences, as I said, like sociology, social research, and other research, related issues with environment, understanding more how, like, demography influence the environment. the yeah and um really interested to understand for example how food tastes and um food dietary preferences of the immigrants change the economy and uh like creating environmental in the country where and the world in general but also in the country where the Indian came to eat and refugee came to eat so I hope further that theme and topic which is interesting for the interesting enough for the Max Blankenspiel's demography research and it might be interesting to kind of apply and continue to do there and then I also was thinking about the for a generational initiative that the NB of the land has and is there maybe some positions, maybe there will be some position for me to work as a communication specialist and for analysts and search for to work on the food related topics and how it relates to health of the people involved. yeah basically my community is a typical world but i'm interested in um not the aspect of at the systems of orbit in a way but the social and the social concept of these regions where where a lot of colonial colonized societies lives. And then the economical perspective as well, because of the very distant location of the regions and the supply chains are very hard to organize and um growing food there is not also uh sufficient so i'm interested in learning like possible ways and then that's why i i'm going to germany as well because i learned that uh germany um donated a lot of uh or like supported the interesting alternative proteins in the country and there is a lot of companies as well that work on alternative quality and development and I want to support that industry. I learned from that industry a lot and I want to work in that industry and help with this interdisciplinary approach. I hope to get on the program to see how we can work to kind of help people to be more efficient to cultivate more like safely or not safely but like more easily and communicate the the possibility uh benefits for them so yeah i'm really looking forward to more of these and then i am very much looking forward to work study learn and read about facts and analyze them and i'm very confident that Thank you for attention.
