About Me

Hi there! I’m Professor Stinson-Swartout. I graduated from the University of Tampa with a BA in Political Science and have continued my academic career at Michigan State. I received my MA in Political science in 2023 and am a current PhD candidate for a doctorate in Public Policy. My research predominantly focuses on the politics of school choice and education policy-making. In my free time, I like to bake (you might get some treats out of it!), craft, do nerd stuff, and go on cruises. I love a good adventure!
