Create New Officer Positions

Before you start...

This step is only necessary for Executive Board positions, or specific officers who need additional access to GreekTrack features that regular Actives cannot access.

Creating new positions in GreekTrack

On your chapter’s homepage, hover over Manage in the menu bar and select Officer Positions & Privileges.

To add new positions, enter the position name under “Title” in the right hand column under Add an officer position.

Only add officer positions for your chapter’s executive board or positions who need additional access to features within GT. All other positions can be added under Account Type and Chair Position.
Check the appropriate role tag for each position:
Role tags are used by ILB to send out communications to specific officers. Please double check role tags for each officer before saving.
Eg. All New Member Educators should be assigned the New Member Educator tag to receive NMP-related communications from ILB.
Under Applies To, select who is able to hold this position. Typically, only officers would be able to hold any new roles.
Once you click Add Position, you can define GreekTrack privileges for that officer position.
Privileges refers to what each position/officer is able to access/manage within GreekTrack.
To edit the privileges of an officer at any time, click on the lock with the pencil icon.

Each CAA is required to create an Alumnae Advisor position with the Advisor role tag & the Advisors Only option.
