Steps to extract backups from

Visual Soft

Find the Visual Soft icon(“GST”) on desktop, open its properties by right clicking on the icon.

In the Properties Dialogue box click on “Open File Location”, it will open the folder structure of the system.

Go to the “PC” folder -> Current financial year(2020-21) folder.

Select “Bill01.mdb” & “Retail.mdb” file and create the zip by right clicking the files.

Skyways

Open the skyways software and generate 3 reports

Stock valuation

Current Stock

Item Code

All the report files must be in csv format.

Marg

Open the software and generate all the sql backup into csv files.

Report

Management Report

Data Transfer Utility

Export all Data

All the report files must be in csv format.

Prompt

Find the prompt icon(“+”) on desktop, open its properties by right clicking on the icon.

Software Icon -> Right click -> Properties

File Target / Open file location.

Open "Database" Folder.

Select the latest modified file.

Feed the data in the same file without editing the headers

Common steps

Select all files and create the zip by right clicking the files.

Rename the zip to pharmacyname_softwarename_chemistid_backupdate.zip (Demo_vss_32_01022021.zip)

Send the email of the zip file to sano.csv@gmail.com with the chemist and software name in the subject.

Email should contain the following format.

Backup taken today should be processed by making the entire system clean by deleting the current sales, purchase & inventory.

Chemist Name : Chaman Patel

Person Name & Contact : Chaman Patel & 9876543210

Supporter Name : Chaman Patel (eVitalRx Team member name)

Expiry Limit : 01/04/2020 (Products expired before this date will not be transferred)
