We hope that you had an amazing time in Cape Town (in general) and our home (in specific).
Departure checklist
Please go over this checklist, so that you don’t forget anything:
Close all the windows and lock the balcony door
Turn off all lights
Turn off all heaters, fans, and the air conditioner
Take all your belongings including those in the:
Bathroom: Shower, bathroom cabinet, and behind the bathroom door
Bedrooms: cabinets, drawers, and bedside tables
Kitchen: fridge, freezer, cabinets
Living room
Balcony
Check the wall sockets / plugs for cell phone and laptop charging cables
Close the gas valve in the kitchen cupboard
Throw out food that may spoil from the fridge (non-perishables will be donated to the cleaner)
Put all dirty dishes in the dishwasher & run it
Other items left behind, like clothes, will be donated
Plug the white nanny-cam back in
Leave R400 cash by the nanny cam for Charles the cleaner
Leave all keys and remotes next to the nanny cam, except one gate key
Lock the door with the code
Lock the gate with the gate key
Put the gate key in the lock box on the gate and scramble the code
Send us a message once you’re on your way!
Please also let us know if nobody slept in the second bedroom, so that Charles doesn’t wash the clean linen.
