Well, hello there, and welcome to the Mother City! 👋

We’re Werner and Charlie.

We met and fell in love with Cape Town (and each other!) in 2011 and have been mostly calling it home since then— minus a few years spent travelling and working remotely abroad. While our professional backgrounds are both in tech, we associate more with the hobbies we obsess over in our free time. Werner is an avid paraglider, hiker, and trail runner; Charlie is an aerial acrobat, as well as a bookworm and crossword and board game nerd.

We’ve been very fortunate to travel a lot, both for work and for pleasure. Over the past decade we’ve stayed in hundreds of homes around the world. In furnishing our place, we took some of the best of what we’ve found (and hopefully avoided the worst).
