OBS

We want to track your time with video, it will save on YouTube (privately). For this, you will have to download OBS software and before start working, you have to enable live streaming. If you don’t record your work then that time will not count as your working hours.
At the end of day you will have to send me the links of all YouTube streaming videos.
Download OBS from this link
As the download completes, double-click on the downloaded .exe file
Simply click on next button and complete the installation.
As installation completes, the OBS window will open (in a few seconds) with this pop-up. Cross this pop-up. ​

Now from the top menu bar, click on profile and then click on new. Enter your profile Name and click on save. ​

Add profile name, you can write any name but make sure to uncheck the box “Show auto-configuration wizard” and Click Ok. ​

From the menu bar click on File and then click on Setting ​

Then go to the Stream tab. In the service field, choose YouTube RTMP. From the Server tab choose “Primary YouTube Ingest Server (legacy RTMP)”. Then click on the button “Use Stream key (advanced)” then enter the stream key of YouTube channel. See in the next step how you can copy stream key of a channel. ​

Go to , if you don’t have created a YouTube channel it will ask you to create a YouTube channel, you can simply create channel with your any name. And as your channel is new, you have to request access for streaming and it can take up to 24 hours. And for your request you have to verify your channel with mobile number.

Visit this
again after 24 hours of verifying your phone number, you will see this pop-up here choose option one and click on Start. ​

In the next step, you will this pop-up, here choose the second option “Streaming Software” and click Go ​

Then in the next step, choose second option “No, it’s not made for kids” and click Save. ​

Then you will see screen of live streaming, from this screen copy your streaming key. ​

Paste that streaming key in OBS setting and click “Apply” and then click “Ok” ​

In OBS, from bottom, we will have to select the source, click on + icon in Source box and then choose “Display Capture”. ​

If you don’t want to record your voice you can mute your mic from Audio Mixer ​

To start streaming click on “Start Streaming” button in OBS and also from YouTube. Rename your video title by clicking this edit button. You can rename you video with date wise i.e. 11 November part 1 ​

When you have to stop recording, firstly click on “END STREAM” from YouTube and then Click “Stop Streaming” from OBS.

After click on “END STREAM”, a pop-up will show on YouTube. If you have to edit anything like name or something then Click on “Edit in Studio” otherwise you can click on “Dismiss” ​

At the end of day, when you will have to submit the links of all videos, go to , then go to “Content” tab from left sidebar and then go to “Live” tab. When you will hover your mouse on any video, you will see three dots with every video, click on these three dot and then click on “Get Shareable Link” ​

Points to Remember

When you have to record video, firstly click on “Start Streaming” from OBS and then from YouTube.
When you have to stop recording, just click “Stop Streaming” from OBS. After few seconds YouTube will auto end the stream. You don’t need to end from Youtube.
You can’t pause live streaming, if you have to stop work for few minutes you have to end this video and record new video for next time.
If you will have any issue with internet OBS will show you notification on desktop. After each notification you will have to make sure that your YouTube live streaming is continue or has been stopped due to bad internet.
Sometime, YouTube shows extra time of streaming in YouTube studio. You can see actual time by playing that video in your browser.
At the end of day, you have to send me all video’s link.
