Unit Creation - Create from Scratch

Unit Meta Data

When creating a new unit from scratch, the user must provide the following metadata:

Unit Name

Tags (both Family and Free Tags)

Description

Duration (in hours and minutes)

Skills

Prerequisite Units – The user can select from the list of published units available in the dropdown to set them as prerequisites for this unit

Note: If a required Tag or Skill is not available in the dropdown, it must be created first. Refer to the following documentation for guidance:

Once the unit metadata is added, users can proceed to define the taxonomy structure of the unit.

For each unit, users can:

Create Modules by providing the module name and duration (if required).

Create Topics by entering the topic name under the respective module.

Users can also drag and drop modules and topics to rearrange them in the desired order
