Skill represents a specific area of knowledge or ability. It helps in organizing and categorizing learning content, making it easier to link relevant courses or assessments within the platform.


1.1 Create a Skill

Navigate to Library → Skill from the Content Creator dashboard.
Click Create New Skill.

Enter the Skill Name.

You can Activate/Deactivate the skill by clicking on toggle button.
Click on Save.
If the skill name already exists, the system will show an error: Skill already exists.

Note: Skills created manually are Active by default unless you toggle them Inactive.


1.2 Creating Skills via Import

Users can upload multiple skills at once using an Excel sheet.
Excel Upload: The Excel file should have one column only with the header “Skill Name”.
To upload:
Click Import.
Upload your Excel sheet.
Skills uploaded via Excel are Active by default.

Note: Only Active skills will appear in dropdown lists across the activities.

1.3 Manage Skill

Once a skill is created, it becomes available under Library → Skills.
You can edit the skill name and change its status (Active/Inactive) anytime from the Skills section.
