You might notice that we play songs from a variety of time periods and genres at Trinity. On any given Sunday we might sing songs written in the year 820 or 2022 and everywhere in between. They could be songs you hear on the radio or songs written by obscure church musicians. We appreciate variety! Borrowing from Daniel Block, we like to call it "distributive worship." Whether young, middle-aged or seniors, our intention is to give everyone opportunities to sing songs that don't necessarily suit their own personal tastes. Rather than asking what kind of music people will sing for you, ask what kind of music you can sing for them! (Acts 20:35, Col. 3:16, Eph 5:19)
