Service Checklist (Visual)

Pre-Service - 8:00am

Arrive at 8:00am. Turn on the computer and log in.
Turn on the rear projector and LED wall. The rear projector remote is next to the lighting control board.
Get a worship guide from the Welcome Desk. Take note of any atypical elements which might require a visual (e.g., video).
Open ProPresenter. If this Sunday’s script is not updated, please insert the appropriate songs, scriptures, announcements, or any other necessary elements.
Check the lyrics. During practice, run through the songs along with the band. Confirm that there are no typos and that song order matches what the band is playing (e.g., verse, chorus, verse, etc.)
Review sermon notes. Check that the manuscript notes and slides match up correctly.
Practice should end by 9:05am. Go join an Equip Class! Be back in the sound booth at 10:15.

Service Time - 10:15am

House music. Play the TBC Pre-Service playlist on Spotify at 10:15am.
Stage lighting. Make note of when to switch lighting settings during different points of the service.
Watch for announcement slides. They are not always present. If not, leave “Welcome” screen.
Songs. Timing is key! Anticipate; the next slide needs to be there a few seconds before it is to be sung. You can usually skip to the next slide just before singing the last few words of the current slide.
On scripture in songs. Sometimes scripture passages are put up during musical interludes. (They have black sides before and after them.) There should be enough time to comfortably read it before switching to the next slide. Follow along with the music to anticipate when we will start singing again.
Sermon notes. During the sermon, you will have a printed manuscript to follow along with so that you will know when to switch to the next point.
The ➥ symbol indicates that you should advance to the next slide

Post-Service - 12:00pm

Turn off projector, LED wall, computer & stage spotlights. Thanks!
