Worship Notes

Gathering Weekly

Have you ever met somebody who thinks worship can be done just as well solo with a fishing rod on the river as in church? In the book of Hebrews, the author instructs Christians not to neglect meeting together regularly. He knows that people are in the habit of going rogue, so he reminds them of their duty to meet and stir each other up in love and good works. Biblical Christianity is not a solo project! There is something unique that happens when God's saints gather. We have been given gifts by God to build each other up for the good of each other and the glory of God. (Heb 10:24-25)
