There is no specific "order of service" prescribed in the Bible, but it does describe some important elements that are essential for the gathered worship of the Church. We are to Read, Preach, Pray, and Sing the Bible every week. The service at Trinity includes a substantial reading of the Word (1 Tim 4:13), expository preaching based in the text of the Word (2 Tim 4:2), prayers rich in Biblical content (Matt 21:13), and singing songs that are filled with Biblical language and themes (Col 3:16). The Word of God both creates and sustains us as the People of God, so we love to glorify God together with Scripture as our guide.
