Transportation- Intercity Transit

Intercity Transit’s Customer Service is located in the Olympia Transit Center at 205 Franklin St. NE in downtown Olympia.

Bus Service

Schedules for each of the routes can be found at or use the online Trip Planner at for step-by-step instructions, including which routes to ride.
Intercity Transit provides zero-fare transportation on 19 bus routes throughout Olympia, Tumwater, Lacey, and Yelm. There is also Express bus service to Lakewood providing regional connections.
Other Ways Customers can get Schedules
People who don’t have access to a printer can still get printed schedules if they need them. Here’s how:
Stop by Customer Service at the Olympia Transit Center and request a copy of the schedule(s).
Call Intercity Transit at 360-786-1881 to request schedule(s) be sent by email or postal mail.
Fill out their online order form at . They can send schedules by email or postal mail.

Dial-A-Lift is a door-to-door, shared ride public transportation service for people with disabilities that prevent them from using Intercity Transit’s fixed route bus service. Intercity Transit offers Dial-A-Lift service where and when fixed route buses operate.
You must complete an application, be eligible and certified to ride Dial-A-Lift.

You must complete an application, be eligible and certified to ride Village Vans.
Transportation services are offered Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Village Vans provides free transportation to help passengers gain and maintain employment. This service is available to low income individuals traveling within Olympia, Lacey, and Tumwater to locations including, but not limited to:
· Work.
· Job interviews and training sites.
· WorkSource and other employment services.
· Childcare centers, when combined with work trips. Car seats are provided.
· Temp agencies (Labor Works, Smart Talent, etc.).
