SafePlace Advocacy

SafePlace provides a variety of services for survivors of domestic and sexual violence, including a drop-in advocacy center. Safeplace advocates help with safety planning, provide emotional support, help with basic needs, and offer connections and referrals to other agencies.

PiPE Advocacy

Partners in Prevention & Education (PiPE) provides advocacy for people who are unhoused or street-dependent in Thurston County who have experienced domestic violence, sexual violence, sex trafficking, identity based violence or hate crimes. Through advocates, people can access emotional support or assistance to clarify issues, solve problems, identify barriers to safety, and develop safety checking and planning skills.

Connecting participants with local resources
Gender affirming supplies for transgender and non-binary participants
Filling out legal forms and documents (DV/SA protection orders, letters of insight, character statements etc.)
Accompaniment to appointments in social, legal and health facilities

Family Justice Center

The Family Support Center’s Family Justice Center Program serves survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and human trafficking, and includes multiple onsite partners working collaboratively. Services include safety planning, basic needs items, crisis support, shelter & housing search, help filing police reports, help with protection orders, and court accompaniment.

Monarch Children's Justice & Advocacy Center, in conjunction with their partner agencies, offers a wide range of services at no cost to child victims and their families. Children's advocacy centers offer a new way of responding to child abuse & neglect by bringing all of the partners together in a coordinated, child-focused, child-friendly effort. Monarch is a program of the Community Action Council.

The DRC provides mediation resources to facilitate dialog and negotiation between tenants and landlords regarding rent payment plans to help renters maintain housing. Due to extremely high case volume, you can expect to leave a message and for staff to return your call when they are next available.

Living with Conviction’s mission is to secure economic and racial justice with and for marginalized communities, especially formerly incarcerated individuals, through community-driven research, storytelling, and legal empowerment strategies.
They are a collaboration between formerly incarcerated individuals and their legal allies, together advocating for relief from both court-imposed debt (called, “Legal Financial Obligations” or “LFOs”) and unconstitutional drug possession convictions.
