Tweets

tips on how to properly tweet or behave in general on twitter:
1. They spend 30+ minutes per day sourcing and refining 1-3 daily tweets. They don't wing what they say, and they typically sit on each idea for a few days.
why retweet →
1. "Retweeting is my bookmarking system for ideas."
2. "I retweet when someone's put elegant words to my thoughts."
3. "I want my followers to know I relate to this statement."
how:
1. Tweet referenceable content that people will refer back to later.
2. Challenge the status quo with elegance and wit.
3. Pick a debate and argue your side with a novel take. The most RTed tweets? Threads with advice like this.
tips:
• Open with a hook: Make it counterintuitive or counter-narrative.
• Concise body: Satisfy the craving your hook created.
• End with a punchy zinger: Summarize implications of your finding and what it means for the reader.

Setup changes

for more structure & no ads - you are able here to display several “feeds” with you filters
Recommended in this context is changing your location to a totally random country in africa → no Trends (did this, if you want to have trends change you location back)

Steal active twitter follower from niche influencer

Every time one of these top accounts posts something, reply, or RT with a comment.
You need to ADD VALUE on top of the original post.
Add your take to the original post
Ask a thoughtful question so the original poster can reply
Spark a conversation or join an existing one
image.png
Benefits:
Get attention from people in your niche
These people will check out your profile thanks to your reply and probably follow you
You might create relationships with the top account
Timing is Important:
Set up notifications for those accounts so you know when to attack
Be fast. Try to be one of the first accounts to comment
Optimize your Profile:
This is how people that visit your profile will check out your profile (prioritized) - no tips for opt.
\ see valuable content /
\ check name & @ /
\ click on profile /
\ read bio & link /
\ pinned tweet /
\ follow or no /
Donts:
Don't just rephrase the sentence
Don't reply too much, too often. Find a balance
Comment only if you have something valuable to add

Notes while working with Tweetdeck

There are a lot of ways to influence what you see → seems very good to create a relevant list of Tweets that shall be interacted all the time
I created a Custom List, called it “Builders” and now I can add all the important guys there (e.g. arvid kahl, Greg Isenberg etc.) → we should extend this list as we go and focus on replying to the guys
There are also functions like advanced filtering within these lists and an option to clear the list (which could be done after the weekly reply session)
Here is the
, but when you use it in your Twitter (if that works), you can alos deactive the retweets for a cleaner feed → retweets might be good for discovery of further builders (but it is easily possible to switch between with and without retweets
I made the list private, but I can still share it with more people e.g. other accounts → by that we might be able to build several, slightly differnet accounts in the scence and and some point “help eachother”
You can add several accounts to one tweetdeck

Twitter → Get the Audience

Connect to Google Drive
Increase in relevant persons to 100 - 200
Track relevant metrics of those persons in a sheet
Metrics will be determined today (based on article )
Proposal for now: Follweris, Following, twitterhandle, source of discovery (for now the audience tool) (+Bio, +real name)
@Dennis Mezler
so based on above article let’s differnatie between (top accounts + “accounts that are close to the top accounts”) → first iteration find 40 people with at least 500 followers in the buiilders niche, then ping me - i will look at them manually and try to come up with a pragmatic way to messure their engagement, then you will collect more highly engaged acounts.
Pleae do the first iteration as soon as possible
