Shredded Chicken in Instant Pot

Chicken
Water
Spices and salt

Instructions:
Add the chicken breast in the instant pot
Add 3 cups of water or until the chicken is covered
Add random spices and salt
Put on the pressure cooking lid (not the air fryer lid)
Click “Pressure Cook” and set the time to 10 minutes
Click “Start”
When it beeps you can ignore it and let it sit their until the metal pin drops
Or you can press down on the knob to have it spray everywhere until the metal pin drops
Then open the lid, take the chicken out with tongs onto a cutting board and let it cool
Or if you’re impatient like me just start shredding the chicken immediately and do mini shrieks of pain
BTW I would recommend shredded the chicken with two forks

You can use the chicken in sandwiches, soups, stir fries, salads, etc.

How to Cook Rice

2 cups brown rice
3 cups water

Instructions:
NOTE: The rice takes about an hour to cook so make sure to do it ahead of time
ANOTHER NOTE: If this is too much rice you can also do 1 cup of rice with 1.5 cups of water

Put two cups of rice in the rice cooker bowl
Rinse three times by adding water, swishing the rice around, and pouring out the water with a strainer or your hands
Then add the water
Put the pot in the rice cooker and click the power button
Click the brown rice button and wait until it beeps and looks like it’s loading
That means it’s cooking even though it looks like it’s loading
It’ll beep when it’s done an hour later
Good job!

Cucumber Salad 🥒

Half a cucumber
Salt
1 tsp soy sauce
1/2 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tsp Sugar
1 tsp sesame oil
Sesame seeds
Instructions
Thinly slice half a cucumber with a mandolin or knife
Add to a strainer with salt and let it sit for 5 minutes
Squeeze the cucumber until it begs for mercy
Add to a bowl with soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar and sesame oil
Mix and then top with sesame seeds
