List medias

Generates a table that list your filtered medias from your Google Photos library.

The pack provides you with some filters to retrieve exactly what medias you want to synchronise. This will have two advantages:
Better fits everyone workflows
Limits the number of requests that the pack makes to Google's servers. This will allow more people to enjoy this pack!

megaphone
I’m still not sure what default set to the filters filters provided. Maybe you can help me figure that out?

error
Please consider to not load all your medias nor use this pack to search in your library. (each request can be quite costly in ressources…) It is not intended to work this way. You will likely hit the api max quotas and limit all users of this pack !

You’ll find just below a list of the filters at your disposal:

Date range

Filter medias by a date range.
Examples:
Medias from last week
last year
vacations of summer
2023

Filter by album ID (soon)

Maybe you have a ton of albums and don’t want to list them all. Like myself, you are working on one specific project and your medias are already listed in one album.
Just retrieve it’s id and paste it in the corresponding filter before loading the Albums table.

Categories to include/exclude

Maybe you don’t want to load your
@Screenshots
or
@Selfies
, or both?

Favorited medias

Check the box to synchronise only your favorited medias. Uncheck to include all medias.
Should I add a "Favorite" checkbox when listing all medias?

Archived medias

Check the box to include archived medias. Uncheck it to exclude archived medias.
Should I add an “Archived” checkbox when listing medias?

A quick quote from Google Photos’s API guide:
@Utility
photos cover a broad range of media. This category generally includes items the user has captured to perform some task and is unlikely to want after that task is completed. It includes
@Documents
,
@Receipts
,
@Screenshots
, sticky notes, menus, and other similar media items.
The categories are only as accurate as the equivalent labels in Google Photos. On occasion, items may be mislabeled, so we don't guarantee the accuracy of the content category filters.

Here’s the list of content categories provided by Google Photos, displayed in alphabetical order:
