Title: Sponsorship for the Gen-IR workshop @SIGIR 2023
We are organizing the First Generative Information Retrieval workshop (Gen-IR) at SIGIR 2023. The workshop will be held as a full-day onsite event in conjunction with SIGIR 2023, on July 27th, 2023 in Taiwan: .
Taiwan is far away for a lot of people. Some panelists and paper authors will not be able to pay for the trip (or only partly). Towards a more equal research community (similar initiative ), we are contacting companies involved in search engines for sponsorship. Any amount would help towards making this workshop more of an in-person experience for all and especially for people who would not be able to finance it.
