Promoting Students

This helps move students from one class section to another at the end of a school year.
Migrate from shows the year the students are currently graduating from.
Migrate to shows the year the students will be graduating into.
The new session and sun-session will automatically be created when you migrate students from one session to another.
To choose the class you want to promote students to:
Scroll to the Class section
Click on the column under “Promote to” and select the class you want to promote them to
If it is a graduating class, Check the button “is a graduating class” instead
Click “Show students” to view the students in that class section
Click “Promote students”
